Ember was found crying on a porch in Middletown. She was bleeding and in pain. A nice person brought her inside from the cold and that is how she came to Loving Care Cat Rescue.
Ember was taken to Hershey Emergency Vet and was diagnosed with Pyrometria. This is a severe bacterial infection that occurs when a female cats uterus becomes unhealthy. She required an emergency Spay surgery, IV antibiotics, and fluids. Ember was a wonderful patient and has completely recovered from her surgery. Now that she is healthy she is ready to be a spoiled little princess and has no desire to return outside.
Ember is around 1 yr old. She is very sweet and loves attention. She is chatty and has the cutest pink nose. When she greets you, she will get so excited that she stands on her hind legs and spins around like a little ballerina. Although you can't see it in her pictures, she has the tiny tip of her tail that is white.
She enjoys all the luxuries of indoor living with cat trees, window perches, and toys. She loves her treats too. Ember is very laid back and would make a great emotional support kitty, companion for an older adult, or an active family. She really just enjoys being around people.
Ember is currently living at a foster home in Palmyra with 3 dogs and other kitties. She gets along well with them all. She is a passive kitty, so she would be a great companion kitty or also would be fine living as a single kitty.
Embers adoption donation is 115.00 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter/spay.
If you would like more information on Ember, please contact Pam at lovingcarecatrescue@gmail.com. If you would like to fill out an online application, please visit https://lovingcarecatrescue.org/adoptionapplicationonline.html
Please note: LCCR does not allow our adopted cats and kittens to be declawed. All adopted kitties are to be kept as indoor-only
