My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Scout is the sweetest boy! He loves to be loved after living at least 7 months on his own getting whatever food he could from kind people. He was rescued hanging out at a church with a group of other stray dogs. He loves other dogs. He is great with cats. He gets a little jealous of attention, but who could blame his after being on his own. He is not aggressive at all though. He is SUPER sweet. He loves to give nips which I believe is part of his Feist heritage. He is a bouncing baby boy of approximately 3 years of age. He is looking for his "furever" home so his rescue mom can adopt the next one in need. An adoption fee of $150 helps to cover his vet costs. He is fully vetted and has no known medical issues. Go meet their pets

We do not have a shelter. We are a small group of animal lovers that help over 200 dogs and cats in need annually. We are promoting a low cost spay and neuter program in our area in order to educate our community and prevent pet overpopulation in our area.

More about this rescue

The Mission of Mailman’s Mutts is:
To rescue abandoned and unwanted animals, provide proper medical care, and adopt them to loving homes while educating the community about the critical need of spaying and neutering their pets.
