My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Feeding Schedule: He is an early riser. 6 am - 7am wet food
Dry kibble throughout the day and wet food 1pm and evening

Food Type: loves pate (chicken and tuna) Fancy feast, Inaba Twins chicken recipe. Meow Mix tender centers kibble. Least favorites Cod, Sole or shrimp.

Behavioral Observations: Might hide at first but friendly. Once he knows you will seek interaction to play. He does not like to be carried around. Submissive and will let you pet him. Does not like being left in a room alone or locked in a room. Does hide under the bed if he hears the neighbor's dog.

Socialization: Prefers to be around other cats to play with. He is energetic, curious, intelligent and very loving.

Playtime: loves interactive toys, balls, and climbing scratcher post and chasing other cats.

Litter Box Habits: knows how to use the litter box

Sleeping Habits: During the day he loves to sit by the window if he's not chasing my other cat. During the night he sleeps near my other cat (safety) or near my bed. Doesn't like being left alone.

Grooming: Knows how to groom himself

Bathing: I bathed him but he's not a fan of sitting in water. Although he loves to jump in the tub or sink to play with water.

Brushing: Enjoys to be brushed.

More about this rescue

Boyle Heights Cats is a volunteer-run organization that seeks to make spay/neuter and low cost veterinary services accessible to all community members. We train community members of Boyle Heights, Lincoln Heights, El Sereno and East Los Angeles how to TNR and monitor their pet colonies in order to stop the overpopulation of homeless cats. We believe that community members can lead the change to reduce the number of stray cats on the streets. It is our collective responsibility to care for the community cats in our neighborhoods
