"Little" Ricky as he is so fondly known as is a 3 year old chihuahua mix. He's a little portly at 20 lbs but we're working on that. You have to admit, his coloring is striking!
Ricky came to us from an overcrowded home and exhibited the typical behaviors that these dogs do when they dont get enough human interaction. Ricky was fine with other dogs but terrified of people. It took him a while to push through, but he did and to the point he could go into our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training program. Ricky needed basic work on leash, crate and house training also. We are happy to announce we are on the brink of bringing someone a fantastic family companion!
Ricky has become everyone's favorite lap dog! He's to the point, he cant get enough attention from humans. He has gracefully accepted a leash and collar and doing very well with his house training. (its hard to move them off pee pads!)
Ricky is ready to start looking for his forever home. His perfect fit will be with one person, perhaps two that he can bond to. He will undoubtably be the most loyal companion you could ever have.
