My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oscar, who was adopted as a puppy from CCA, is now looking for a new forever home since his owner's health declined. This handsome fella is food motivated, making good behavior easy to reward. He will respond well to solid and consistent leadership, exercise, and mental stimulation. Oscar's ideal home would be one without children or other pets, where he can receive undivided attention and the focused support he deserves. Are you ready to provide Oscar with the stable environment and understanding he needs to thrive?

*Oscar takes daily medication for anxiety. *

More about this shelter

CCA was founded in 1980 by a small group of individuals dedicated to helping animals. Since then, our group has grown to include a small shelter. Our group's mission is varied: to maintain a shelter for abandoned, sick or injured animals; to adopt out dogs and cats to loving permanent homes; to provide for their animals low-cost spay/neuter assistance to families who lack the means to pay; and to strive to prevent and to stop abuse and/or neglect of an animal.

We are always in need of volunteers! If you are interested in becoming a part of our group, please let us know by calling 864.243.4222. We'd be glad to have you on board!
