With a mane like a lion Andy is sure to impress! He’s floofy and poofy and everything you pom lovers love about a pom. He’s what’s considered a “throwback” meaning he’s larger than the breeds standard. Andy tips the scales at 14lbs. This means you’re getting a sturdy boy who isn’t as fragile as his smaller counterparts. Andy’s size is only equaled by his heart. He’s a lover and all about that human interaction. He will sweetly gaze into you eyes as you stroke his long locks and he adores any amount of affection you’re willing to give his way.

Sadly we don’t know much about Andy’s history. He came into the shelter with a gash above his eye and they patched him all up. No owners came forward to claim him and such a sweet dog didn’t deserve to linger in a shelter environment. So we scooped him up and he headed into foster care where he is thriving.

Andy does well with neutered, non-dominant and female dogs. He’s basically a big teddy bear motivated the most by love and affection. He’s working on his house training skills and is totally crate trained. This sweet boy deserves to have a family to call his own so we are working on finding him just that.
