My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Name: Sissy

*Age: approx 7 months old

*Current Weight: 60.2 lbs

*Adoption fee: $550

Say "hello" to Sissy!  This tan beauty leans more towards the look of a Shepherd, even though she is part lab. She is a very playful girl who enjoys a romp with her siblings, as well as with some of her foster family's dogs. She likes to chew on knuckle bones and and has a great time chasing tennis balls in the yard. She tends to ignore the local squirrels and has not yet been around cats. While she is not fully house trained yet, she does use the potty pads that are available in the indoor puppy enclosure she shares with her littermates. Although obedience training has not been started, she responds well to being called by name and understands some verbal corrections. She likes fresh fruit and green beans as healthy treats, and will chomp on an ice cube or two in the warm weather. Sissy enjoys the attention of her human family and would love the opportunity to be part of yours!

More about this rescue

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
