Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Chrysanthemum, a beautiful, Maine Coon-mix girl with a mostly white coat, and Tabby Markings... big, round amber eyes... all the ear and toe tufts you could ever want. Because of her breed, Chrissy will need an adopter who understands the importance of regular brushing... which this girl already LOVES!
She and her sister, Violet (black, Med-hair) and brother, Scampi (Brown Tabby, DSH) were born outside, on the grounds of an elementary school. They had a 2nd brother but he's been adopted, already.
Chrysanthemum was on the shy side, at first, but she has started to come out of her shell... playing with complete abandon and purring for lap cuddles and grooming sessions.
She gets along with just about every cat and age... and will get lonely without another playful, affectionate feline.
You'll find their full rescue journey chronicled in Photo Album #32 on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties" (including video updates on all our cats and kittens). Be sure to check out her adoption video and fall in L-O-V-E!!
Chrissy's adoption will include her:
* Spay surgery,
* De-worming,
* FVRCP vaccinations,
* Rabies vaccination (if old enough),
* Combo-test (for FIV/FeLV = negative),
* Flea and mite treatment (with Revolution),
* and Micro chipping!
~ $150. adoption fee, adoption contract and home check apply / $250 for a pair ~
* Please only contact us if you'll be making her a permanent member of your household and will be keeping her safe indoors.
** We do not adopt out kittens or cats where they will be the only pet at home. Kittens rely on each other for emotional support and continued social and behavioral development. For example: another kitten or cat will teach them when they're playing too rough or biting too hard. Plus, cats and kittens get very lonely when you're not at home! Having a playmate will keep them happier, healthier and out of trouble. **We offer a discount when adopting a pair!
*** You can also find all our adoptables on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties" (including their rescue story, photos and video updates).
Interested in becoming a much-needed foster? Please send us a message with your best contact info, the type of home environment you can provide and, most-importantly, the City in which you live. Thanks!
