Clover came to EDCR after being surrendered by her former owners to animal control. Unfortunately, her former owners had not kept her on her appropriate seizure medication, and she was suffering. After 2 days with our veterinary partners in the ICU and being on the appropriate medication, Clover has not suffered from another seizure!
Clo, an 8-ish year old Chihuahua, can be a very shy girl. She is very nervous when trying to be picked up, but otherwise curious about her people! If you're sitting on the couch, she loves to hop up, snuggle, watch some TV and catch some zzz's. She loves to follow her foster mama and papa around the house and investigate while they're doing chores (especially when she can sneak into the dog food in the laundry room). Clover has really bonded with the other dogs and cat in the house. Clo takes some time to warm up, but she is SUCH a sweet girl with so much potential. She needs a home with lots of patience to help her work through some of her fears, and who can keep her on the appropriate medication for her seizures! If you are interested in adopting Clover, please submit an application to EDCR.org.
