Meet Teddy. Teddy is 6 years old and joined the NorCal family when a Good Samaritan found him on the streets and gave him to a neighbor, that had cocker experience. The neighbor contacted us and we are happy to have Teddy with us.
Teddy's foster mom named him Teddy because he looked like a teddy bear. She said that his pictures make him look like a grumpy old man, but he definitely is not!!! In typical cocker style, Teddy wants nothing more than to sit with his special person and grab a quick nap. You will hear his sweet puppy snores. He will instantly become your shadow and follow you everywhere. As always, he loves his meal time, soft treats and will be the first one out the door for a good walk. Teddy loves car rides and gets along great with other dogs. He would not do well in an apt. or condo and needs a yard to explore.
Teddy does have some separation anxiety and needs to be in a home with someone that will be home the majority of the time. We are also still working on his potty manners.
Teddy has been to the Vet and has a clean bill or health. He is on thyroid medication, for the time being.
