*** LEON NEEDS A HOME *** Leon (age 13) has spent his entire adult life inside a veterinary clinic as one of two clinic cats, greeting clients and assisting the staff. LEON is a very personable, sweet and goofy boy, who needs a home for his retirement years. In his senior years he is no longer comfortable in such a busy, fast paced work environment. He is retiring and needs a person and home of his own. Leon would prefer to be the only cat, no children but small respectful dogs are ok.
This was a hard decision for the staff but the best for Leon. Unfortunately, no one at the clinic has a quiet home, which Leon deserves. He is a healthy, happy boy, he just had labs, his teeth cleaned, and a minor surgery to correct his eyelids called an entropion surgery. That corrects a congenital eyelid defect so his eyes are comfortable - basically an eye lift. Leon does require Lysine in his food, and azithromycin in a pill pocket for his eyes and nasal condition. He takes his medication very well, and is not a picky eater.
His veterinary clinic in Corvallis will pay for ALL his medical needs during his retired life. He just needs a quiet home and a loving person to call his own. You provide love, food, water and litter and have no worries about veterinary bills. If you'd like additional information on Leon please put in an application found on our CCR website. We will require a home visit and trial adoption to make sure he is a good fit for your family and that everyone is happy. He is just waiting to enrich someone’s life with his sweet, goofy personality. Rehoming fee is $50
