My story

Meet Lucy! Lucy is a darling 9 year old, 33 pound beagle who arrived to TRI after a life of breeding. Lucy acclimated amazingly well to foster care! Lucy is good with her foster mom's grandchildren and all her canine foster siblings. Lucy loves being outside in the yard. She likes to chew hard bones and play with stuffed toys. Lucy is crated trained for when her foster mom leaves the house, and she is housebroken. Lucy is not a lap dog, but she likes to be pet and be social with humans and animals. True to her breed, Lucy follows her nose and wants to reach any food she smells Lucy is currently working on learning commands, starting with sit and down.
