BIO:
Hi there, I'm Lilah, a sweet young dog in search of a loving forever home to call my own. My early life wasn't easy, but thanks to my foster family's TLC and patience, I'm learning what it means to be in a loving family.

I'm a playful, dog-friendly gal who enjoys romping around the backyard with my FTF friend Avril or running around the house playing with my plush toys. I'm known to get the zoomies and run around the backyard at breakneck speed...foster mom says I haven't figured out where my brakes are yet, so I'd likely do best with older children who won't topple over if I zoom into them. Once I've run out all my puppy energy, I love to shower my people with affectionate hugs, kisses and snuggles. Work from home? I'm a great officemate who will curl up for a nap next to you or quietly chew on a bone while you take work calls. While I'm still mastering the art of potty training and perfecting my leash manners, I'm making huge strides every day and soaking up all the guidance and patience my foster family has to offer.

One thing to know about me is that I've had some tough experiences with men in the past, but I'm working hard to overcome my fears and rebuild trust. With gentle encouragement and understanding (and lots of treats!), I've already made remarkable strides befriending my Foster Dad, showing just how resilient and brave I can be. I'm also a little unsure of crowded, loud spaces, so I'll look to my humans to help me gain confidence before I'm ready for adventures to busy parks or large gatherings.

With the guidance of my foster family, I'm learning to let go of fear and embrace the beauty of connection. If you're an experienced pet parent with a big heart and plenty of patience, I know we could be the perfect match. Fill out an application today and let's create a future filled with tail wags, sloppy kisses, and unconditional love!

Smooches,
Lilah

If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
