Meet Wesley! This senior guy is truly a gem. The vets can't agree but Wesley falls somewhere between 9 years of age and 13 years of age, however his age does not slow him down. Wesley is not necessarily a lap dog but he does enjoy sitting right beside you if you'll spend the time to pet him. He doesn't bark or make much noise at all - we believe he is likely deaf or quite hard of hearing. However, he does communicate....his most notable signal is dancing in front of you - could be he's to see you, could be it's time to eat or he wants to go out, but he will let you know. Wesley enjoys the outdoors - he'd be happy to go for a walk around the block each day, and is great on a leash. Wesley gets along with other animals, even cats don't bother him. As for people, Wesley knows no strangers! He's a little spoiled in the eating department, loves people snacks and chicken thighs for dinner, maybe a sweet potato or string bean here or there, but at his age, he deserves to be a little picky! We pulled Wesley from a shelter, got him up to speed on his health and now Wesley is in Florida waiting to hear we've found just the perfect adopter and home for him. Wesley would make a great companion for someone who's home more than not, although he does fine while his foster mom is out, he just misses his people, and for someone just looking to add that little bit of joy that's missing, which only this little fluff ball can bring!
