Kavic arrived at NCCR in mid-November after he was discarded by a breeder who had no further use for him. He is an 8-year-old neutered male Husky. He is quite friendly and loves attention from people. He also knows how to walk on-leash, and is enthusiastic about playing with his toys – he always has a ball in his mouth! He will need work on house training, but catches on quickly with supervision and consistency. Typical of his breed, Kavic can be quite vocal at times, and he enjoys digging a good hole to lie down in when it’s warm outside. He may be able to get along with other friendly dogs if introduced very gradually 1-on-1, but may do best as the only dog in the home.

It takes a lot of time to process the applications, so we ask for your patience while we do so. We do adopt out of state, however we do not transport or ship dogs. Potential adopter must be able and willing to travel to the Rescue to meet the dog they are interested in.
