My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Kimmy. I used to live outside fending for myself, but now I that I am safe in my foster home, I am so much happier. I love to get pets and play fun games like pounce on the stick under the towel. I'm still getting used to being picked up, and sometimes new things still make me nervous, but I'm doing better and better every day. Please adopt me!All adopters must be > 21 years old, live in a place that allows animals, keep them indoors only, do NOT declaw them, and keep up with necessary innoculations.

Additional adoption info

FCPGA asks for a potential adopter to complete an interview and meet a representative of the program in person before completing the adoption. The adoption fee is $150 for a fully vetted kitten. FCPGA asks that if the pet needs to be returned for any reason that the pet is returned to our rescue. We ask that cats/kittens are not declawed and encourage "indoor only" homes.

Go meet their pets

A select number of our cats are always in the Petsmart enclosures in Alpharetta, Cumming and Dawsonville. We rotate them out weekly so they don't have to stay long.
Come visit them anytime. If you want to interact with them out of the cages, you will need to make an appointment.

More about this rescue

Feral Cat Program of Georgia, est. 2004.

The FCPGA is a grass-roots program run entirely by volunteers with the help of local veterinarians. We are a registered 501c3 non-profit organization, donations are tax deductible.

Our mission is to control the cat overpopulation. This is accomplished through TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return/Relocate). We specialize in rescue of strays and socialization of feral kittens for the purpose of making them ready for your loving home.

The term "feral" is an adjective used to describe behavior, it does not describe a breed of cat. "Feral" is used to describe many nonsocialized animals and even people!
