Aster is the sweetest queen of belly traps! She's a silly girl with a huge heart and would make any family very lucky. She loves to play and ask for attention, so a family that is looking for an interactive cat should look no further! Aster is VERY sweet and cuddly, too. She doesn't seem to like the other cats here, but could be open to a home with cat-friendly dogs. It may take her a second to get settled in to her new home, but with a little love and patience, she'll be your bestie in no time! More about this shelter

The Woodford Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal organization located in Versailles, Kentucky. We provide shelter and care to the homeless and unwanted animals in Woodford County, surrounding counties, as well as animals from other states. We care for pets of all breeds and ages, with no time limit on their stay, and we are proud to maintain an annual placement rate of over 95%.

With no government funding, we are completely dependent on private contributions to continue to provide care to around a thousand animals each year.

Adoption fees include spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations and deworming while at our Adoption Center, feline leukemia and FIV screening for cats, heartworm screening for dogs, a microchip with a lifetime registration, a free veterinary checkup, and a starter bag of food.
