Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Blake is a playful, curious, and charismatic pup. He loves playing and exploring with his foster siblings but enjoys cuddling and receiving affection even more. Like his namesake Blake Shelton, he occasionally sings/howls with his foster siblings. Blake is sweet-natured and adaptable. With his boundless energy, he would thrive in a home with housemates to play with or active owners.
Blake is great around cats, even though he wishes they would play with him. He's so agile that he's picked up some cat-like behaviors, such as scaling new terrain. Food-motivated and quick to learn, Blake has already mastered commands like sit, lay down, heel, recall, and place in his kennel. Crate training has been a breeze—he's comfortable in his crate and sleeps peacefully through the night. While potty training is still a work in progress, he improves daily.
Blake loves blankets, food puzzles, and kongs with peanut butter. However, he dislikes swimming and thunderstorms. At almost 5 months old and 23 pounds, Blake is ready for his forever home!

Additional adoption info
We are extremely thorough with our adoption process. Our goal is to find the best fit for our dogs. We reserve the right to deny anyone a dog if we feel the applicant is not qualified or is not a good fit for the dog at our discretion. We require two personal references that we call to check character and get a recommendation on why or why not the applicant is a good candidate. Also, we call the vet reference to be sure the applicants current dog is current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention. The home check is mandatory to be sure the applicant lives where they say they live and the pet will live in a safe environment.

More about this rescue
The Charity's specific purpose is to rescue lost or abandoned dogs from shelters, from the streets or from owners who are no longer able to care for them. Our goal is to prevent further euthanasia of these animals. All dogs receive medical care and behavioral training as needed to prepare them for a new home.
We do not have a facility.
All of our dogs are in foster homes.
The charity will also focus on efforts to educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering their animals to prevent the overpopulation of animals in Texas.
Our adoption fee is $300 which includes alteration, vaccines, microchip, training program in some cases & any medical treatments needed for each dog to be 100% healthy and successful in a home. Must have an approved application to set up a meet and greet.
