Bruce (previously Bruh) came to us in April as a stray. No puppy should have to grow up in a shelter! He is everything you would want and expect in a hound puppy. He is neutered, fully vetted, already picking up his basic commands and working on getting housebroken. From his foster as of the end of October 2024 - "Bruce has now been in our home for 27 days. And only within the last 4 have we been able to see his true colors. He is so much more than a anxious puppy. He is actually very smart, and beyond social. Bruce is a sweetly submissive boy who respects proper pack authority. He's not afraid to wrestle with the pack hooligans but will respect a correction from my pack betas. He has ZERO prey drive towards kitties and bunnies. And the BEST part about him, is his love to run and Play off leash on a farm, with no worries about him running off. In the last 27 days I have watched this dog blossom into a well mannered house pet. But not one single adoption application.... why? Because hounds are less desirable. And honestly I can't wrap my head around why. They are some of the best dogs I've ever had the privilege of owning. So please share Bruce with people far and wide! I'd love to find him an amazing forever home!"
