My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Prince is a 6-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing approximately 15 pounds.  He has been with us for over 2 years.  He was so scared and unsocialized when we first got him.  He was living in a barn with no human contact.  He has come a long way and we feel he would benefit greatly from a foster home. He doesn’t like to be confined and will bark and growl at you when you close the gate to his room. He still doesn’t trust people but he has improved greatly.  We’re hoping he will blossom in a foster home.  Please help him to become the “Prince Charming” he’s meant to be.
We are only able to adopt within the state of Florida.

A Forever Home Animal Rescue, Inc. is a no-kill organization with 20 years’ experience rescuing, fostering and adopting out animals. At AFHAR, we have helped all kinds of dogs, all breeds and all sizes, however, at this time we are capable of handling only small dogs no more than 25 pounds due to facility limitations.
