My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

I'm Chubbers and I am really hoping that my dream of having my own family will come true.  I need a special home that will help me keep building confidence and also appreciate how expressive I am.    I admit that in an environment where I am comfortable and feel safe, I have a LOT of personality.  I make my foster mom laugh all the time at the creative ways I come up with to get what I want and express my opinion.   I can be a little shy of new people and I'm a very sensitive boy.  I will probably do better in a quieter home with older kids or no kids because I get nervous of yelling and lots of commotion.  I love getting spoiled and appreciate lots of attention.  I do love my toys, soft beds, and sleeping in front of the heater on a cold day.  I am very smart and learn quickly.  I am treat motivated making it easy to teach me new things.  Despite being an 8-9 month old lab/cattle dog cross, I am not very high energy.  I do herd things a little, but it's easy to control.  I will probably be around 60 lbs full grown.  I am crate trained and house trained.  I currently have a dog door which I use very well.  I do ok with cats that don't run.  I would really like to have another dog friend who will play with me and doesn't get into a lot of trouble or tattle on me.  Having a friend will help me to have confidence in my surroundings too.  I have watched all my siblings get adopted, but I still haven't found the right fit for me.  I really try to be a good boy so that someday I can have my happily ever after.  Please apply today at  https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication
