My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Anastasia is indeed a fortunate kitty! She journeyed to CCHS from a colony environment and is now seeking a home willing to embrace her. She is naturally timid because she hasn't had the experiences that most house cats have. She needs time to adjust to living indoors and being a cherished pet. Staff members love to give her pets and she accepts them and even enjoys them! Anastasia isn't used to being picked up yet, but we are able to if we take the time she needs to prepare herself. Her stunning tortoiseshell coat and lovely eyes are captivating. Accustomed to the company of other cats, Anastasia might enjoy sharing her space with a friendly feline companion. Anastasia is around 1 year of age. If you can give her a home, apply to meet her at www.cchswi.org

Adoption Policy

Anyone wishing to adopt an animal must fill out an application and go through a screening process.
Applications are available either at the shelter or on-line.
Every effort is made to match the family and animal who are right for each other.
Same-day adoptions are allowed on already altered dogs and cats. Dog owners should bring their dogs to meet the adoptable dogs. You should have veterinary references available for your current pets. You should also have landlord information available, a leash/collar for dogs and a cat carrier for cats. If you pick an animal that has not yet been altered, you will have to wait for the surgery to be performed before taking it home.
CCHS has the right to deny any application for any reason.
