Turn around…Every now and then I know you’ll train me to be the girl you want me to be. But every now and then I know I will cry if you are not around. Every now and then I know there’s no one in the universe as magical and wondrous as you, but playing with other dogs, respectful kids 5+, and dog-savvy cats is pretty great too. Every now and then I should spend some time in my crate—like while you’re away at work—but I’ll be okay with that because soon you’ll be home and I know there’s nothing better than being by your side, there’s nothing that I wouldn’t do for you. A total eclipse of the heart.
