My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ruby is a lot like Zircon. She weighs 9.8 lbs. She has many sides - sweet, playful, loves her momma. She and Topaz look a lot alike, but Ruby has more red through her fur. Blue eyes!
Requirements for puppy adoption:
Active family
Preferably another canine playmate in the home but we will consider present and active families without other dogs for individual pups that we feel can be only dogs
A home with a secure fenced yard (will consider apartments/condos without fenced yards for individual pups from the litter)
Any puppies that are unaltered will need to be spayed/neutered in 4 months, nonnegotiable and will be contractually obligated
Prefer husky or large breed experience but will consider other homes for individual pups
Unknown with cats / Have not been exposed (will consider homes with cats on a case by case basis)
Please fill out an adoption application on our website https://texashuskyrescue.org/apply-to-adopt/ .
**PLEASE FILL OUT every question on the application or we will not process it. Your last name, basic contact Information, Landlord Contact info (if applicable), and Veterinarian Contact info are REQUIRED - if any are missing, we will be unable to review your application. And ONLY fill out an application if you are ready to bring them into your home in the next week or two!!
Our applications team will be in touch within 1-2 weeks while we process the applications as they come in, so please be patient with us!

More about this rescue

Mission: To rescue, rehabilitate, and find qualified loving homes for neglected, abused, and unwanted Huskies throughout Texas. To educate the public about responsible pet ownership and the special qualities of the Siberian Husky Breed.

History: Texas Husky Rescue, Inc. was created in May 2009 as a non-profit 501(c)3 animal rescue organization that is run entirely by volunteers and does not have a paid staff or a shelter. Texas Husky Rescue, Inc relies solely on volunteer foster families to take huskies into their homes until permanent, qualified, and loving homes can be found. Texas Husky Rescue, Inc. is a responsible animal adoption agency and requires that all dogs over 6 months are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We ensure that none of our dogs will ever contribute to the overpopulation of dogs in our community. The work of Texas Husky Rescue, Inc. is supported by tax-deductible contributions by individuals, corporations, and grants.
