Rudee is a sweet little low rider who came the shelter a bit on the timid side, but who has absolutely blossomed with a bit of TLC! He’s back from a stay in foster and is just as charming as ever- he enjoys chin scratches and pets, and if you stop too soon (it’s always too soon), he gently puts one of his paws on you to remind you that your job isn’t done! Here’s what some of his volunteer friends have said:
“Rudee is the cutest little low rider around. It was my pleasure to walk him yesterday for the first time. I walked past his kennel and his cute little stature caught my eye. He gave me a smile and the a-ok after a few treats. We walked and walked all around the park and the lake. He loved every second of it and checked in with me often to make sure all was good. He’s a great walker, and an even better companion. He’ll lean into you for pets and affection. Rudee is the perfect size with the cutest stocky stance. He’s a unique fun fella and a gobble up pup!”
“Rudee immediately ran over to me wagging his whole body and I was able to pet him. He walked nicely on the leash. In the yard he was very treat motivated and knows sit. He wanted a lot of affection and wagged his whole body when I would pet him.”
Rudee recently went on a day trip and did great too!
“Rudee was absolutely phenomenal. He is the cutest guy and is a crowd pleaser!”
Rudee shares his kennel politely and has been playful and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’ll likely do well with a confident doggy friend to show him the ropes in his future home. Ask to meet Rudee today!!
