My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET ROSIE
2 Year old Female

Meet Rosie, one of our bird watcher enthusiasts here at the shelter! Rosie is the embodiment of sweetness with just a little touch of independence!
When it comes to receiving love, Rosie has her own terms. She'll saunter over for a cuddle on her own time, and belly scratches are only permitted when she demands them with a gentle paw tap and a purr that melts the heart

One of Rosie's favorite pastimes is watching the world pass by from the comfort of a nice sunny spot inside...as if she's the queen of the neighborhood

Rosie would prefer to be the queen of the house, but she would also be okay coexisting with another kitty friend if she had to!

More about this rescue

Partners for Pets is a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue located in Troy, IL. Since our opening in 2003, Partners for Pets has rescued and re-homed over 21,000 cats and dogs, who would have otherwise been euthanized in local area animal control facilities. Partners for Pets works diligently to help local area animal control facilities reach no-kill status by opening our doors to the neglected, sick, weak, and injured. No matter their chances of survival, we do everything in our power to give these animals a second chance at life-a life that is full of the love, care, and compassion that they were lacking before.
