My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sayuri: Your Charming, Chatty Prince!

Sayuri is a sweet and charming gentleman looking for a loving home where he can be adored like the prince he is. This handsome boy has a lot to say, especially when he's ready for his next meal! He's a cuddly companion who enjoys the finer things in life, including a cozy spot to relax and a warm lap to curl up on.

Sayuri has lived with other cats before and might be open to meeting a new feline friend with a slow and careful introduction. However, Sayuri does have special needs. He has diabetes, which is currently being managed with a prescription diet and insulin. He requires a dedicated adopter who can give him the care and attention he needs to stay healthy and happy.

To ensure Sayuri's adopters are fully aware of his medical needs, he is part of our special adoption program. If you think you can provide Sayuri with the loving and attentive home he deserves, please fill out an Adopter Profile at www.parl.org/adopt and email hmaclellan@parl.org for more information. Sayuri is waiting to charm his way into your heart!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The first step in our adoption process is to submit an adopter profile through our website. We then encourage you to visit PARL at 34 Elbow Street and get to know the animals we have available. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.

When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.

If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
