Even though I am a senior, I still have a lot of love, loyalty, and enthusiasm left in me. I am quiet and curious, and I love to explore and take in all the smells around me. I am a friendly dog who is always eager to greet my human friends with wags and kisses. I am fine with other dogs. I am a bit older and need a gentle touch, so I would be best suited for a quiet home without young children. Adopters complete an application, references are given including a vet reference. Home visits are performed along with trial adoptions of up to a week. Adopters are required to sign a contract that is sent through the mail.

More about this rescue

Act2Pups is a 501(c)3 non-profit group. Act2Pups gives senior dogs that have been given up a second chance. Seniors are so easy to take care of. We provide a home environment for all of our senior pups. We are a small group that dedicates all of our rescue efforts to helping senior pets. We give them a thorough veterinary check up to include complete blood work and a dental at the minimum. We spay and neuter always. All of our senior pups are heart worm tested and are started on heart worm preventative.
