My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Butterfly is a young adult at about 2-3 years old. She was surrendered by her owner to a kill shelter when they moved. Approximately 25% of the dogs entering kill shelters are purebred dogs and many never make it into a new home. Butterfly was heartworm positive when we rescued her from certain euthanasia. She came to Connecticut and was treated for this condition and can now expect a long life. She is a little clown and wants to be loved so much. She keeps her foster Mom laughing. This little girl is wonderful with cats (mostly ignores them) and is good with submissive small dogs. She definitely does not like a dog to challenge her and will respond accordingly. Butterfly is spayed, microchipped, and her shots including Bordetella and Rabies are up to date.
She will make a wonderful companion in the right home. Please request a questionnaire if you are interested in adopting butterfly. We would prefer a CT adoption but may consider another New England State adoption to find the right home. Contact LittleSouls@att.net
