I’m a 2-3 year old pit mix, and let me tell you, I’ve got a heart as big as my paws. Some people call me a gentle giant, and I think that fits just right. I may look a little tough on the outside, but trust me, I’m all about peace and calm on the inside. 🥰

We want to ensure a lifelong placement for the rescued animal so at Second Chance Dog Rescue Mansfield we do our best to match potential adopters with their perfect pet. Our adoption process includes an initial application, with a home visit, references and vet checks. If the match is a good one, we then finalize the adoption and wish you happy tails. We are always available to help with the transition to a new home. We check in during the first few weeks to answer any questions or help with any issues. We also love hearing you brag about your new adopted fur baby and love getting updates throughout the year.
