Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
We can't have a Bonnie without a Clyde! Clyde was terrified at animal control, and he showed teeth to just about everyone. He LOVES other dogs, and quickly started to trust his foster mom. Sometimes, they just need patience and love. This is why foster families are SO important! Clyde was at risk of euthanasia due to his fear-based aggression. This poor little guy was just misunderstood. He is only a year old, and he is a little plump at 12-pounds. We think he's likely a Chihuahua/JRT mix.
Clyde must have another friendly dog in his forever home. He would be best in a family without young children. Someone who can continue to help him to trust strangers would be ideal. Clyde is good on a leash, in the car, likes to cuddle, and he likes to play. He is fine in a crate, but you have to let him come out on his own time. He is terrified if you try to pull him out manually.
Can you help bring joy to a little lad like Clyde? If so, he promises to return that love in spades.

We operate solely with the help of volunteers. All of whom have kids, pets, and full-time jobs. Thank-you for your patience with the adoption process.
If the dog has not been marked as adopted, then he/she is still available. Though, there may be multiple apps in process. We do not operate on a first come, first serve basis. We attempt to find the best fit for each dog, and each approved family. If you are approved, but not chosen for your first dog of choice, please don’t despair. Your love match is out there!
All dogs are in loving foster homes. Thus, we will only arrange meetings with approved adopters.

We will adopt out-of-state. However, we will not ship dogs. You will have to come and pick up your baby in Illinois. We have several major airports nearby, including one right here in Bloomington.
Once again, thank you for loving the tiny seniors as much as we do! Please continue to share our posts so that each baby may find their forever home. ❤️It takes a village to save lives.
