My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Prince is just that, a real prince of a cat. He is regal and sophisticated but he is the sweetest most lovable gentleman. Prince absolutely loves affection and lounging around in the cat trees and soft beds. He does great with other cats and lived with several in the past. He is a handsome Siamese/Snowshoe mix who is 8.5-years-old. He has the beautiful blue eyes and fur coloration of both of these breeds. He was rescued with a number of other cats from a hoarding situation.

Prince is FIV positive but could live with other cats as he is not aggressive whatsoever. None of the other cats from his previous home have FIV. Recent research on FIV cats living with other cats has shown that FIV is not easily passed between cats as it cannot be spread casually through litter boxes, food and water bowls, or snuggling and playing. This disease is transferred when an infected cat bites another cat and breaks the other cat's skin. This means that a neutered cat in a home is highly unlikely to infect any other cats as long as they are properly introduced or are not particularly aggressive in nature.

It has been shown that FIV cats can live a normal lifespan. Please consider giving this wonderful fellow a good, loving home. We will be happy to provide more information about this.

Prince is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV, is neutered and is microchipped.

Our adoption fee for one altered adult cat (7+ years old) is $75 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. There is a discounted adoption fee for a second cat that is adopted at the same time.
