My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What We LOVE About Milo!!

Milo is the ideal companion for anyone seeking a calm, loyal, and loving pup to add to their relaxed home. His mellow personality makes him a perfect fit for families or individuals looking for a sweet and steady friend.

Milo is a wonderful walker—although he might get a little excited if he spots a squirrel! Milo enjoys his walks, especially when he has his furry foster sibling by his side. Quiet and well-mannered, he rarely barks, making him a great choice for condos or single-family homes. After a stroll, nothing pleases him more than laying beside his foster mom. Milo is also a fantastic car rider, effortlessly jumping into the car and settling into his assigned seat like the perfect gentleman.

At approximately 5 years old (though he may be younger), Milo has a medium energy level and a temperament that’s both mature and laid-back, yet he’s still brimming with life and love. Currently fostered by a family with older teens in a suburban neighborhood, he thrives in a environment where he enjoys his crate, walks, and a nice bone.

Milo’s ideal home would feature a yard or open space, as he loves to chase squirrels and play fetch! He’s especially fond of kids aged 8 and up, enjoying playful interactions such as a game of fetch. He does best with an easy-going female dog or another older dog who appreciates a relaxed lifestyle.

His foster mom raves about Milo, saying, “My favorite thing about Milo is how easy-going and laid-back he is. He’s crate and potty trained, and when we leave him out of the crate, he behaves beautifully—no accidents and no destruction! Plus, he’s incredibly sweet!”

If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a loving companion, Milo is waiting for you in Texas! We would love to arrange a virtual meet-and-greet to introduce you to this sweet boy and answer any questions you may have. Don’t miss out on the chance to make Milo a cherished part of your family!

An angel sponsor has graciously covered part of the adoption fee to help make it more affordable for loving families. The total adoption fee is featured with the sponsor already deducted.

The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!

Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes.
