My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Riley and her sister were taken from their home because they were not treating them right on 3/13/2023. Both girls were very much underweight and were living of trash in the yard. They were out on tie out cables. They are sweet as ever and want all the attention they can get. Riley is such a ball of fun and energy. Would do best in an active family with another doggie friend. Riley does play rough with other dogs so she will need another rough playmate or a tolerating dog. She is not mean towards cats but may accidentally hurt one with her energy and play style. She is spayed, house trained and fully up to date. She has been here over a year now and would really like to find a home soon! Really enjoys belly rubs! Adoption fee is $100

More about this shelter

Our shelter is staffed by only a few employees so we greatly depend on volunteers to help care for our animals.
We work very closely with rescue groups to help move our dogs out of the shelter quickly. Our goal is to never have to euthanize for space. We cannot do that without rescue assistance because our adoption rates are very low.
