My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Molly is a five-year-old, 28-lb Portuguese Podengo who is so sweet and gentle. She was found as a stray and never claimed, so we don’t know anything about her background. She has a very cute personality and is so affectionate. She is very easy to walk and seems to be housebroken. She loves curling up in a fleece blanket surrounded by her stuffed toys.

She does not like either of the male dogs currently at the Shelter, so she should be the only dog in her next home.

Molly is spayed and vetted, so she is ready to join her forever home.

If you are interested in adopting a dog, please fill out our dog adoption application here: http://medfieldshelter.com/adopt. Our dog adoption fee is $350. Every dog we place is vaccinated, wormed, treated for ticks/fleas, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We send each dog home with a collar and leash.

With very few exceptions, dogs are happiest and the most well-behaved when they receive daily exercise and ongoing training, so we always prefer to place our dogs with families who are willing to make a commitment to both.

All adoption meetings are by appointment only as we only have two employees. Our manager or one of our volunteers will be happy to set up an appointment for you to come meet the pets, but please fill out the adoption application first.
