This handsome, happy-go-lucky boy is named Beck! Beck has a knack for making any day better, with his waggy tail and his big, bright smile. He’s super-duper dog-friendly, small dog approved and ready to come home with you! Beck would make an awesome family dog too, doing great with kids as young as 3 years old.
Beck is estimated to be just under two years old, past the chaos of puppyhood and nicely settling into his established good dog era. His exact breed-mix is a mystery to us, but we think he may be a Pittie, Shepherd mix, with perhaps some Boxer DNA in there. He has a gorgeous brindle coat and heterochromia, with one icy blue eye and another deep brown. Beck weighs in at a warm and cuddly 45 pounds right now, fully grown!
Beck is currently thriving in a foster home with a loving foster mom and her two large dogs. Beck’s foster mom says that he’s a “wonderful boy.” He trots after her through the house, gazing up at her with those gorgeous eyes and waiting patiently for his opportunity to be pet. He gets along wonderfully with his canine foster siblings, and would adore a playful doggy brother or sister in his forever home. Beck is so good with other dogs that he goes to doggy daycare once a week! He’s a fan-favorite of the dogs and staff alike.
Beck has never met a stranger, he’s incredibly friendly with everyone he meets. He loves to be pet, and he loves a good snuggle- bonus points if you achieve both at the same time. His love for humans extends to kids too! Beck has met kids as young as three years old, he didn’t jump or push on them, he was gentle and sweet. He gives the sweetest tiniest kisses to his young friends, and he adores play time with them. We think Beck would make an amazing family dog. Beck would be great in a home with vivacious kids- he may even help them burn off some energy.
Beck is known as “The Brindle Teddy Bear” around the rescue, lovingly bestowed with the nickname on account of his sweetness and snuggly tendencies. He’s incredibly loving and loyal, and such a rescue favorite.
Beck is also a very smart boy, very receptive to training! He’s learning his leash manners, and getting better every day. With a little polishing, this sweet boy will be a perfect walking companion in no time. Beck would love to accompany you on hikes, long walks through the park, or to the beach. This boy has the stamina to keep up with you, and the confidence to take on even the most treacherous hike- if you’re outdoorsy, Beck is your guy!
Beck is such a sweet boy, adoring, loyal, loving and snuggly. He’s ready for his forever family. Sweet Beck would do well as a family dog, in a home with or without other dogs. We do not recommend Beck for a home with kitties. We are willing to test Beck with anything you need us to in order to ensure he’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know.

https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.
Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!
Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded.
It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time.
