Meet Rocky!
Rocky came to us in 2023 as part of a humane case. Rocky is now ready to have a fresh start! Rocky is a big guy with an even bigger personality. This playful fluffball loves nothing more than running around and playing with toys! He loves to chase after stuffies and carry them around. Once he is comfortable with you, Rocky is a ball of love. He loves to roll around and get belly rubs and will bring his toys over to play! Rocky has done well with grooming when done in little bits at a time. He enjoys being outside and has a blast simply sniffing out new smells.
Rocky will need to learn some basic commands, and some leash training as he can pull a little. Rocky has lived with other dogs and does well with them. We have noticed he does better with female and more submissive dogs. While at the shelter Rocky has done well with cats but does not do well in a home environment with them. At this time we are recommending he be in a cat-free forever home. We would recommend a home with older children because Rocky spooks easily. Rocky can be a bit cautious of seeing new people, especially men, so he will need a patient home where he can build his confidence when meeting new people!
