Meet Tootsie 💗

Chihuahua mix. Born 1/17/23, female, 15lbs

Tootsie came to us from an over crowded Kentucky shelter. She was ready to give birth at anytime. Tootsie was surrendered by her family, because her pups were not “pure bred” chihuahuas. She had a rough time with labor and only 3 of the 7 puppies survived. Tootsie is absolutely beautiful, and weighs around 15lbs. She loves to cuddle, and listens well once she gets to know you. Tootsie is shy at first, and will need some patience adjusting to a new home. She is very treat motivated, but will beg for food when you are eating. Tootsie is being fostered with large, and small dogs. She will do best as an only dog, or with other dogs her size. Tootsie prefers not to share her food bowl, and likes to be fed separately from other dogs. She is still young, and should be crated when not supervised. Tootsie loves to tear up toilet paper 😂 She is still young enough to get into things if left alone in the house. When foster mom has to go out, she is crated and does fine.

Tootsie is current on vaccinations, microchipped, heart worm tested, and spay.
