Take the Pet Home
(Update: July 17, 2024) My foster family is so proud of me! I no longer hide in one room but roam the house checking things out. My favorite place is looking out the front window. I find comfort in being in the same room with people and the other cats and dog. I am still a little scared of humans, but I am slowly starting to trust.
(April 16, 2024) Luna is a cat that had spent her life outdoors until three months ago. (She was rescued after taking her very sick kittens up two flights of stair and dropping them in front of the door where she was being fed) Transitioning from outdoors to an indoor life can be very challenging for a cat. Luna is learning to understand the life of an indoor cat, but she does find it very scary. She needs a home where she can have her safe spot where she can retreat when feeling overwhelmed or anxious. She needs someone with time, patience and positive reinforcement to help Luna gradually show her personality.
This kitty is currently in a loving foster home and has been tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped, has age-appropriate vaccinations, and has been spayed/neutered.
Please put in an adoption application on our website, cats-can.org if you are interested or if you have any questions, please email us at catscaninc@gmail.com
