Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Oreo (We call him Rodeo because he is often acting like he is in a Rodeo show) is a sweet boy surrendered to the local animal shelter by the owner claiming that the dog did not get along with the boyfriend in the home. He was pulled by the rescue instead of being euthanized. Rodeo is neutered, fully vaccinated and heartworm negative (on preventions). Rodeo is very loving and already appears devoted to his foster mom. He has adjusted quickly to the structure and routine in his foster home.
Rodeo has learned some many basic commands with his foster mom and is eager to demonstrate. He walks well on a leash and seems to enjoy walks, but is leash reactive to other dogs. The trainer can show you how to manage this behavior. He came from a household with other dogs, but we do not know alot about his relationship with those dogs. But he comes weekly to Graced Kennel for playgroup and plays with all sizes of dogs. He loves to chase and be chased by his fur friends.
Rodeo loves toys and will play with or without your assistance but does love to engage his human in play. He is a very active boy and will require your attention, but does love to cuddle with his human once he has settled down.To inquire about an animal or submit an application visit https://www.hands2paws.org/adopt.html
