Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Fretta was born in November 2023, weighs about 33lbs, and she is up to date on shots.
Fretta is affectionate, sweet, energetic, and silly! She loves giving lots of kisses and getting pets. She has a great balanced temperament, is well-socialized, and friendly.
She wants to be a lap dog and always tries to get on her foster mom's lap. That's when she gives endless kisses and cuddles. Fretta enjoys her baths!
Fretta likes to play with balls, sticks, and in the water. She also enjoys the other dogs in the house. She loves her toys and loves a good game of fetch! She plays really well with her foster siblings!
She is a very curious puppy and is always carrying a stick from the yard in her mouth. She loves being outside to burn that puppy energy!
Fretta recently went camping and did amazing! Her recall was great, and she wasn't afraid of the campfire. Fretta visited a brewery and was so sociable! She loved being out and around other people and dogs.
Fretta has already figured out how to walk on a leash, and she walks well with a standard collar too! She has a really great recall and loves to be with other dogs or her humans when out in the yard.
Fretta is comfortable in her crate and already sleeps through the night. She is doing well with house-breaking.
PLEASE NOTE:
We review veterinary care for applicants. This includes regular well visits, up-to-date and consistent core vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm and tick-borne disease testing, and regular monthly heartworm prevention. Please contact your vet to give them permission to speak to us before we call them.
Puppies cannot be crated for more than their age in months plus 1 hour. Regular potty breaks will be needed to house-train your puppy. Please make proper arrangements and let us know what these arrangements are when you apply.
Application can be found at www.puppypawsrescue.org
If your application meets our adoption criteria, we will contact you within 1 week. You will then be asked to schedule an interview and virtual home visit. Due to the volume of applications, applications that do not move forward to an interview, may not hear back from us within that time frame.
