Meet Joey, a handsome golden eyed 3-year-old male cat. His fur is almost all white, except for a whisper of brown fur on his head. He was found wandering in and out of yards in search of food with his bonded buddy, Josie. They were initially thought to be feral because of how frightened they were, so they each have tipped ears. However, the kind woman who rescued them quickly realized that they love being pampered housecats. Josie and Joey are initially nervous about meeting new people, but they gradually come out of their shells and will blossom in the right environment. How the two came to be together is unknown, but they definitely love each other!
Joey’s food motivation and his excellent appetite quickly overcomes his skittishness. With plentiful tasty treats, Joey’s foster has been able to clip his front nails without much fuss. He is quite playful and adores his feather wand toy and SmartyKat Hot Pursuit toy. Joey also purrs in appreciation of being petted, though it's too early to determine if he'll become a cuddler or a lap cat.
Joey and Josie are best suited for a quiet and calm home with an experienced and patient adopter. While in foster care, they haven't been exposed to much yet, but Joey is slowly building his confidence.
