Rusty is a beautiful loving smart American Bobtail orange cat who was rescued when we noticed him limping. When we took him to the veterinarian, he was found FIV positive. FIV can only be transmitted through deep bites and Rusty is not a mean or vicious cat (on the contrary). https://wagmo.io/blog/fiv-positive-cat-care
He has been an indoor cat for 6 months, during this time he has flourished and become a beautiful healthy and clean cat.
We don't want to put him back where we found him because we are afraid he will not survive another cold winter and we are trying to find a loving home where he can spend the rest of his life among people who will love him and take care of him.
He is quiet, does not bother anybody, he loves to nurture kittens and likes to "bathe them"
Rusty does not like Pate canned food. He only eats shredded canned food and dry food.
The perfect home would be him being the only cat or with another docile cat/kitten, as he does not bother any cat.
