Best Guess for Age: 8 months as of September 2024 SEX: Female
Weight (might have a little more growing to do): 34 lbs as of 9/15/24; she likely is close to full grown
Gets Along With: Other dogs! We do not recommend her for a home with cats. We haven't seen Puppi with kids but she can be tested.
Currently Living at: DC area foster home

Right now I'm just a silly baby all about snuggles and play time - and exploration! I want to see my new neighborhood and the local parks and when I'm bigger and older and can keep up with you - the world! I also want to make lots of puppy and people pals along the way. I promise I will give you lots of laughs and kisses.'

What My Foster Says About Me:
Puppi is ALL puppy with lots of energy! She loves walks and is learning to walk on a leash, but she is a little butterflies and rainbows at this point, so needs a little training to focus her. Puppi loves the water! She is working on her crate training -- she's an independent little girl who isn't crazy about the crate but will spend time in it when necessary. She is daddy's little girl -- she's currently sleeping on a dog bed or with her foster dad and she loves to cuddle with him. She enjoys playing with other dogs and doesn't mind if the play gets a little rough -- that independence streak! -- but also can entertain herself with toys. She likes lots and lots of toys and will pick up and throw them around and play with them by herself. She also enjoys being outside and sunning herself, although we have to be careful about that in this heat! She has done well with kids both at events and on walks around the neighborhood. She is very social with both humans and dogs. She is not much of a barker inside but will bark at other dogs on walks in an effort to make friends. She is very food motivated and will sit for treats like a good girl. And, while I cannot guarantee she is housebroken, Puppi has not had any accidents in the house and goes to the door when she has to go outside. Puppi is a wonderful puppy who would make a great addition to any home!!
Your new dog will need to work on their house training and will also need to go to obedience school so they can grow into a well-socialized dog!
