Meet Selwyn: The Affectionate, Food-Loving Explorer Who Drools with Happiness

Introducing Selwyn, the adventurous, affectionate black cat born on April 11, 2023. Selwyn is an active and playful big boy, and though he’s a little overweight, it doesn’t stop him from exploring his surroundings and running to his favorite people for cuddles. This lovable snugglebug shows his contentment in a unique way—he drools while purring, especially when he's curled up on your chest!

Selwyn loves being held like a baby and will eagerly seek out affection. His love for food is unmatched—he’ll come running the second he hears the food can open. He gets along great with other cats and dogs, making him the perfect companion for any home.

Selwyn would love to be adopted with his sister Bree, as they’ve been inseparable since birth. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested negative for FIV/Felv. They were adopted as kittens, but the owner became ill, so we got them back.

Purrfect Friends, established in 2005, is a volunteer-run, nonprofit 501c3 organization. With over 5,600 cats adopted, we work to combat cat overpopulation and suffering in the Cincinnati area. There is no shortage of cats and kittens in need of homes! Our efforts include rescuing cats in need, assisting with spaying and neutering, providing high quality medical care, and supporting Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) initiatives. We are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership.
We Are A No Kill foster-based Rescue
We have no physical location – all of our cats live in our dedicated volunteers’ homes. We are passionate about making the best possible match for adopters and the cats and kittens in our care. Purrfect Friends has a special commitment to mom cats – when we help with kittens, we help the moms too! Members of our “No moms left behind club” are fully vetted and incorporated into our foster program until their loving homes are found.
