Onyx is a beautiful cavalier boy rescued from the clutches of becoming a breeder dog and living in a puppy mill!

He is a sweet boy and a little shy. He likes playing with his foster friends and would benefit from a young playful dog in his new home. He is enjoying toys and cuddles and his new freedom!

Onyx adoption is $500. He is current on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped and on monthly flea and heart worm prevention. He is recently neutered and being treated for Giardia, a common parasite found in puppy mills. He completes his meds April 18. Visit leiashope.org for next steps!

PLEASE NOTE: We are a volunteer ran rescue with full time jobs. Please allow 7-10 days for application processing.
All of our dogs are in foster homes and a meet and greet is done ONLY after an approved application.
We do adopt out of the area. However, we do not ship or provide transportation. You must come to the location of the dog to meet and adopt. NO EXCEPTION. All family members and dogs must be present at the meet.
Dogs are a commitment for THEIR lifetime. For puppies this could be 15 years. If YOU cannot commit to the lifetime of the DOG, please do not apply. Puppies under 9 months must go to a home where there is someone home frequently (works from home or a partner is home), can adequately socialize and train the puppy, and can keep up with puppy energy!
