Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Wesley!
New friends, I'm so dang excited to tell you all about me! My name is Wesley but my foster family calls me Best-ley because I’m the best boy! I love meeting people, both adults and small humans (being fostered with a toddler and a tween). I have previously lived with other small dogs and a cat so I’m pet friendly too! Since I'm a senior myself, who weighs just 9 pounds, super big dogs might be a bit too much for me but I’m happy to meet them on walks. I'm a real good boy with excellent manners and will sit by the door to let you know I need to go potty and wait by my bowl when ready for food.
I'd love to find myself a forever family who won't take my love for granted. Someone who needs just a little bit of loving from a little bit of a pooch. I’m the most perfect, cutest, cuddliest guy in the whole land of dog! Im in excellent health (no issues/no meds). I have a great energy level, love to go for walks with you (I love to meet new people and doggo friends and show off my excellent leash skills), or car rides, or an adventure to the local dog friendly restaurant, but also willing to snooze the day away while you're at work or if it's rainy or cold out. I sure hope I find my forever human who will be thankful for everything I bring to their life! Are you ready to take me home?
*Wesley is being fostered in Gelnview, IL.
