*Loves people, kids and other dogs!
*great on a leash
*housebroken
*crate trained
*good in a car
*loves to cuddle
* no cats for this boy!
OUT OF STATE TRANSPORT available for an additional fee.
Gus came to us extremely underweight, nearly bald, with open wounds all over his body due to Demodex mange. He is now completely healed and ready to find his forever home! Gus was far too interested in the cats when we cat tested him as his herding instincts are present with these types of animals. However, he is great with other dogs and we use him to help introduce new dogs to the rescue.
Gus has gone out on multiple Doggie Day Outs and did so well each time! He was his happiest self at the dog park with his rescue buddy (Folly) who has since been adopted. He likes to meet new people and go for car rides! We think he could be a heeler mix because of the speckles but we truly still don’t have a great idea about breed. The regrowth of hair didn’t help us with this as much as we thought it would 😂 Gus is a rescue favorite and is so deserving of a wonderful home!
Microchipped, up to date on shots and monthly preventatives

More about this rescue
WHY & HOW
Let us start by telling you the "WHY" and "HOW" woofwoof fosters was created. Our founder
moved to TN in February of 2019. Since moving here, she has seen a lot of
posts on Facebook and other social media sites about missing, neglected, homeless, abused dogs, and
overcrowded shelters and rescues. Our founder and her family rented houses while
searching for a place to buy that would accommodate animals. In 2022, they finally found
a home to buy! Now that they have a home and some land, they want to do what they can
to help! The dream is that one day rescue organizations won't be needed and that all
humans will see these beautiful furbabies for what they are….. love in the purest form. It
is part of woofwoof foster's mission to make this happen.
