My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ask this boy his name and he’ll simply quote his Guardians of the Galaxy namesake... “I am Groot.” Groot came to PACC after he and his siblings were found to be abandoned. They’re safe at PACC now and this sweet boy has already won tons of hearts! Here’s what some of his friends have said:

“Groot was as sweet as ever today. We decided to walk rather than visit a yard and I found him to be a dream walker, very slow and always loose leash. Groot takes treats very gently. He is also very affectionate, leaning in for more petting. Groot gets along well with his kennelmate and likes to walk beside her.”

“Groot is a sweet pup who loves to spend time sniffing in the yard with his kennelmate. He needs and deserves extra love and a home of his own.”

Groot has been diagnosed with heartworm disease and will need a dental. Most of all though, Groot just needs love after a bit of a tough start to his life. Groot shares his kennel and has been social and tolerant overall when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Please ask to meet Groot today!!
