Hello Sophie is an 8 year old Shetland sheepdog, I acquired her from a break up, and unfortunately I am unable to care for her properly. I love her with all of my heart, but My job requires me to be out of the house for over 12 hours a day. She is an extremely lovely dog, loves to run around and play, loves to cuddle, and is very mild mannered. She’s best suited for retirees, or a large family who have the time to give her all the attention she deserves. She loves cats, and gets along well with other dogs. Her favorite time is when I come home she likes to chase me around the house. She is deaf, but responds to hand signals. Sophie is great on a leash and loves to walk! She does have some teeth problems as well but nothing major. Just requires rehydrating her dog food for easy chewing. I don’t deviate from her diet (human foods) it will cause her to have gastrointestinal problems.
